Software for drywall & plastering contractors

Every drywall contractor,a rock-solid file.

What matters, you close inside the wall: the insulation, the frame, the joints. Once the board is up, no one sees what you put in, yet that’s what you’re judged on, by eye and by ear. Here is the file that keeps what you actually installed.

Software shouldn’t just help you run your business. It should strengthen your credibility with the best clients, and protect your interests the day a job gets tense.

Where a job tips over

In drywall, the risk isn’t in the quote.

It’s in what you close inside the wall, and it’s judged differently: by eye and by ear, long after. Four moments decide whether your job ends as a recommendation or a dispute, and they settle in advance, while they’re still a photo in a file.

01

What matters, you close inside the wall

The insulation, the thickness, the type of board, the joint treatment: once the board is up, no one sees what you put in. The day the client contests, you can no longer show it, unless you photographed it before closing.

02

The crack: the building moving, or your tape?

A crack in the ceiling, at a junction, on a tape line. Often it’s the structure moving, not your work. But it’s your tape they look at. Without a record of what you did at the junctions, the doubt comes back to you.

03

The tape lines that show in raking light

In backlight, a tape line that shows, sanding judged insufficient: the appearance dispute, often with the painter blaming the drywaller for poor preparation. The finish is judged by the light, not by feel.

04

Acoustics: what you promise binds you

“53 dB” means nothing to the client; “we can hear the neighbour’s TV” does. And a promised acoustic performance binds you to a result, even when the regulatory thresholds are met. What you promised and installed must be provable.

None of these moments is fate. Each one becomes harmless the moment it’s photographed and dated at the right time, before closing.

Stand out

Trust is won before you close the wall.

Trusting someone with their partitions and ceilings, for a client, is betting on what he’ll never see: the insulation, the quiet of his rooms. He can’t judge your work once the boards are up, so he judges what he can see: a clear quote, tidy past jobs, a business you can find again. At a similar price, the drywaller who shows his work and his seriousness comes before the one who’s a number at the bottom of a quote.

Your public page and your projects don’t manufacture that rigour. They make it visible, for the client hesitating to trust you with their interior.

Protect yourself

The day it’s contested, it’s all already there.

The rigour that wins you the job is the same that covers you when it’s contested. What you put in the partition before closing it, the insulation and its thickness, the joint treatment, the finish delivered, the promised performance, the handover report: gathered and dated, from quote to handover.

A promised acoustic performance binds you to a result, even when thresholds are met: that’s how much your word counts. The day the client says “we can hear everything”, you don’t open a box of photos: you open the file, and it shows what you installed, before the wall hid it.

One single way of working, two benefits: it wins you the job, then it covers you in a dispute.

Run the job

Several jobs, one clear head.

Your jobs, your teams, your hours and your margins sit in one place, up to date. You see whether a job is paying you while it runs, not at the end of the year.

And on the job, everything is captured on the spot, before closing: photos of the insulation, the joints, checked points, even offline.

What we get asked

The questions you’re already asking.

A crack in a drywall partition or ceiling, is it my fault?

Often the cause is the structure moving (timber drying, shrinkage, building movement), not your work. But it’s your tape they look at. The joint treatment and the state of the support when you worked make the difference: a crack can reappear even on a well-done tape line, but you still have to be able to show it.

When I fit acoustic insulation, how far am I bound?

Beyond the regulatory minimum. A promised acoustic performance binds you to a result, and liability can apply even when the minimum thresholds are met, once the noise makes the home hard to live in. What you promised and installed must be provable: hence the value of keeping a record of the insulation and the system fitted.

How do I prove what I put in the partition?

By photographing it before closing. The insulation, its thickness, the type of board, the joint treatment disappear behind the board: once the wall is closed, it’s your word. Dated photos of the inside of the partition, before the last board goes on, are the best proof of what you actually installed.

Do I need moisture-resistant board in a wet room?

In a wet room, you need the right board and the right waterproofing for the exposure to water. The real issue isn’t only the moisture-resistant board, it’s also the ventilation and the waterproofing around it. Keeping a record of the board fitted and the treatment is what covers you the day of mould or damage.

Do I have to replace my quoting software?

The quote isn’t the end, it’s the first piece of your file. We start from the quote-contract and hold the thread through to handover, where appearance, acoustics and what you closed inside the wall play out.

I work alone, is it for me?

Yes. A lone drywaller is blamed as fast as a big firm, often for the invisible inside a partition. When no one can vouch for you, your dated photos, taken before closing, do.

The common ground

What secures your project doesn't depend on your trade.

The principle is the same across every job you take on: the agreement holds from the quote, the proof files itself as the work goes, the handover closes cleanly. That's what we call a Secure Contract.

See it on a key phase: Handover

Your next partitions deserve a rock-solid file.

You work in another trade? The file holds for all of them
